Missi took her first heated yoga class in March 2011 and never looked back. She has practiced almost daily since her first class (often twice a day). Although, admittedly it was the “fancy” poses that drew her to yoga she soon discovered it was so much more! Not only does yoga strengthen, stretch and tone your body but more importantly calms your mind. Missi’s love of yoga led her to Mira Yoga School. She graduated with her 200-hour Yoga Teaching Certificate in May 2015. Missi teaches all levels Vinyasa, Yin, and Basic (beginner) Yoga classes. Her favorite to teach is a challenging class offering a peak pose, usually an arm balance, while making it accessible to everyone with modifications offered along the way! When not teaching or practicing yoga, Missi loves to spend her free time with her two (adorable) identical twin grandsons, three grown children and two pups!
